Growing up we had this
awful amazing faux wood paneling on our living room walls. You know what I am talking about right? The faux wood kind with vertical lines. So when I say “wood planked walls” I am not meaning the faux wood particle board type.
The wood paneling I am totally having a moment with right now is the horizontal, larger planked wood walls, preferably painted either bright fresh white or dark charcoal gray like so:
I am really loving this idea in a hallway or mudroom.
And if you have to do the traditional wood stain, a feature wall like this is pretty cool using old rustic pallet boards…
