“Mustard” Yellow

I have a love affair with some “odd’ colors says the mister.  ”That looks like mustard (beautiful hue of yellow).”  Or that is “poo green” (chartruese).   Completely fine by me as long as he agrees to let me utilize these colors in our home.  So here goes “mustard”…in Liam and Dax’s bathroom.

BEFORE: Outdated, brass and just plain boring.  I don’t have a great picture of the strip lighting.  It.was.BAD.

AFTER: Updated lighting, strong black and white combo with pops of “mustard”.  Exactly the impact I wanted to keep it fun and infuse color.

My favorite part of this bathroom might be the DIY art that features whale wallpaper.  I would have loved to wallpaper the entire back wall but that was NOT practical given the price per roll so I decided to order a sample of the wallpaper for less than $5.  I grabbed a fabulous “mustard” frame and it is the perfect final touch to this bathroom.

Will do Megan! I will take you up on that offer – your boys can show my boys around Disney while we are there.
